| Poor service compared with competition. If you want to cancel your account then you will be in troubles: no responses, no help, and your credit card could be compromised. My experience: very bad. |

| This is the worst company i have ever used for domains read this as it is just completley un professional.
I registered a few domains and in error i was over charged to my credit card so i contacted them for a refund they didnt offer me one instead i had to register 2 more domains so i did this then they charged my for the 2 for the 2 domains i didnt want and that were suppowed to be free.
In 5 days trying to resolve this i have had 4 unauthorised charges from them to my credit card i have got 2 hosting account i dont want and i didnt ask for and i am still waiting for login details and setup of my domains.
When i email i get a response that has nothing to do with what i am asking there support is terrible in addition to this the 12 domains i purchased the login does not work for any of them.
And get this it is the second time in 4 months this has happended there prices are low yes but there is always a catch and in this case it is everything i stated above. |

I have been with then only about three months, but have had only good experiences. I have had a couple rather thorny technical issues which they were very diligent about helping me resolve. I found their tech support, both over the phone and via live chat to be excellent. Also, they are one of the few hosts which truly has 24 hour telephone tech support, which means a lot to me as I live in Japan. I hope I'm not fooling myself, but so far so good...
As for vDeck, I think it is excellent. As for their FTP, it seems fast enough to me. |

I have been with them for over a year now and they have done nothing but help. When I call their tech support line, someone answers the phone within 5 minutes EVERY TIME!
Their support is good, their service is good for the price, and with the new vDeck control panel...It's a very easy, simple, cheap solution to having a web presence. |

| I've had two sites hosted with iPowerWeb, one since 2003 (cancelled last month because I didn't need it anymore) and one since summer 2004. Things have been okay so far, a few downtimes here and there, but no problems with getting in touch with the support or having a problem solved. Once I experienced a database lockup and I had to phone the support; I could immediately talk to a tech, which was a surprise (let's say I'm not used to find support people available on a Sunday morning, French timezone). However, my sites are nothing professional nor traffic heavy, so it may be very different for sites that are more demanding. I'd agree with other posters here: I'm satisfied with the service |

Like virtually any large company - you will find mixed reviews of iPowerWeb. They are one of the largest hosting companies with about 300,000 web hosting account (so they must be doing something right).
I have sites with almost all the major hosting companies, and I feel they are one of the best.
I would reccomend you give their sales and tech. support a call to see how they are. Actually, you would probably want to test all hosting companies you are considering by giving them a call.
Long Story Short, I love iPowerWeb and will continue to keep my sites and plan to add more in the future |
